Spiritual Journey 2 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
For me, the training, planning has taken on a life of it's own! I think about it while working. cleaning house, and talk to all I know about it. I'm ADDICTED! I've never done anything like this in my life, but I've asked God to guide me in the direction I should go, and I KNOW this is it. It will be a Spiritual Journey for me. 2012 will be the earliest I can start on this wonderious journey. My husband & youngest daughter want to experience this as well, but need to wait until they've graduated from college.
Has anyone else experienced this????

Hey wicca32,

Some backpackers would call it "Springer Fever" iching to get on the approach trail and put Springer Mountain in your "rearview mirror"

As a fellow hiker once said,

Cheers

Since the wife and I completed our incredible journey in 07 rarely a day goes by that I don't think about the AT. An old thru-hiker named Baltimore Jack once told me that the Trail has a way of calling one back. I laughed it off and thought he was crazy. I am now considering a thru-hike in 2011. I do miss it so.
