I am new to this site and I am trying to find my friend that is hiking the Va part of the A.trail. If anyone can help me please let me know what I need to do...my email is leighwestwood@copper.net. I have not communicated with my friend for about 3-4 wks now. His family and friends are getting very concerned with the cold weather coming and he had a minor injury to his knee. I have gotten the phone number to the App.Trail Conservancy and am going to give them a call as soon as I leave here but if someone has better info they would like to share, it would be very welcome. Added info: My friend's name is Robbie Williard. He is 38 yrs old, dark hair, about 5'9, 160lbs, and told me his hiking name is Camo. He has military gear like a ruck sack, BDU's; he most likely has a beard and may be traveling alone. The last time we spoke he was near Catawba, VA heading south toward Roanoke, VA.
