Hi everyone,
I joined this site as I am planning to hike the AT starting in April 2010.
So any information I can collect from this and other sites should be a great help.
I am from West Australia Dunsborough (south of Perth on the coast) at present living in Victoria to do some hiking in the Alpine region.
Look forward to reading all other posts.

Hi
That would be great let me know your trail name. I think mine will have to be wombat, an ozzie creature with fur, low to the ground and walks at a steady slowish pace (can speed up in an emergency). That would be me to a T .
